Commonly fabricated materials and specifications are:

Alloy steel
Alloy steel is often subdivided into two groups: high alloy steels and low alloy steels. The difference between the two is defined somewhat arbitrarily. However, most agree that any steel that is alloyed with more than eight percent of its weight being other elements beside iron and carbon, is high alloy steel.


Stainless Steel
Stainless steel does not readily corrode, rust or stain with water as ordinary steel does, but despite the name it is not fully stain-proof, most notably under low oxygen, high salinity, or poor circulation environments. It is also called corrosion-resistant steel or CRES when the alloy type and grade are not detailed, particularly in the aviation industry.

Carbon Steel

Carbon steel is steel where the main interstitial alloying constituent is carbon in the range of 0.12-2.0%.

Black steel
Black steel is a term given to steel pipe with a black oxide scale on the surface. This black oxide scale is formed when the pipe is forged and is typically sealed with a protective oil to prevent corrosion. Because of this oxide scale and protective film, black steel pipe requires little maintenance and is used for a wide variety of applications, including in water, steam, air and gas services. Black steel pipes are typically cut and threaded in the field.

  Cryogenic piping refers to systems that are used in a wide range of industrial applications that require extremely low temperatures, generally around -300°F (150°C) or lower. Due to such low temperatures, cryogenic pipes face unique corrosion and deterioration challenges. Cyrogenic piping is also referred to as cold piping. Ceramic Lining Pipe and Elbow

Ceramic Lining Pipe and Elbow have very uniform coating of specially formulated ceramic material that is affixed to the inner of the pipe and gives a very smooth surface. Ceramics with very low friction factor at low impingement angles decreases the abrasion of materials maximally. Its low density makes it easy to carry and install. Furthermore, its diamond-like hardness, fine grain structure and superior mechanical strength are the unique features that make it a wide range of demanding applications, such as coal preparation, power generation, iron and steelmaking, cement, asphalt, dredging, mining and mineral processing, oil and gas drilling. Metals have good ductility but poor resistance to abrasion - which means that abrasion prevention is required when metal pipes are used in high-temperature fluid catalyst service.
