SHS-自蔓燃刚玉陶瓷复合钢管是国家“ 863”计划新材料领域、并成功实现产业化的高科技成果之一。该产品从内到外分别由刚玉(a-AL2O3)陶瓷、过渡层、钢三层组成。刚玉陶瓷复合钢管充分发挥了刚玉陶瓷具有的高耐磨、耐热及钢管具有的较高的强度、优良的韧性与焊接性能,克服了陶瓷韧性差以及碳钢管硬度低、耐磨性差的缺点。因此,该产品具有耐磨、耐热、及抗机械冲击与热冲击、可焊性好等优良的综合性能。可广泛用于电力、煤炭、钢铁、冶金、矿山、建材、化工等行业,是输送灰、渣、煤粉、矿粉、水泥、泥沙等颗粒物料、磨削性介质理想的耐磨管道。

该产品于1993年通过了冶金工业部的成果鉴定,并通过了冶金工业部、电力工业部联合主持的“大直径长直管SHS自蔓燃陶瓷复合钢管”产品鉴定会(冶金工业部1997第53号)。并获得1998年度《国家级重点新产品》称号。
